Terms and Conditions

- 18 Years + All Scooters and Motorcycles up to 450cc

- 21 Years or older for 450cc + motorcycles

- Drivers License (Need to carry original or show in Digi locker)

- Aadhar Card/Passport/Voter ID

- Local Address Proof (Rental Agreement, PG receipt, Hotel Booking confirmation, Latest Internet Bill, Gas Bill, Office or College ID with address)

International Visitors - IDP (International Drivers Permit) is a must along with Passport and Local stay proof (Hotel booking or Airbnb)

- Rent + Security Deposit amount has to be paid upfront at the time of collecting the vehicle

- Any additional charges for below scenarios will have to be cleared at the time of drop off

• Excess km charges

• Extra hour charges

• Less fuel (compared to what was provided at the time of booking)

• Vehicle damage charges

• Delayed Return

• Helmet damage/missing

• Over speeding Charges

• Out of State travel (applicable for scooters)

• Traffic violations

Vehicles involved in accidents will be managed according to the scenarios outlined below.

a) Minor Accident - These could be smaller damages like a broken indicator, mirror or dents or scratches on the body. Total worth of repairing these damages amounts to less than Rs.10,000/- for scooters and Rs.20,000/- for motorcycles. In this scenario, it will be rentee's(hirer) responsibility to take care of the actual repair charges

 

b) Major Accident - This could be damages involving a third party and the multiple parts are damaged and requires to be changed altogether. for example - Chassis bend, Fork Bend, Engine Damage, Gearbox damage, etc. In such a scenario, Insurance can be claimed, provided below details are provided by the rentee

- Accident spot photos of vehicle and also the third party vehicle if involved

- Details of third party, Drivers License

- A complaint filed at the nearest police station (This helps us make successful and faster claims)

Note: Insurance claim process usually takes anywhere between 15-25 days or sometimes more depending on parts availability

IMPORTANT NOTE: In both the above scenarios, LOSS OF BOOKING charges will apply. 

Calculation: 50% of the rental amount of number of days required for the vehicle to be repaired and is fit to be rented again

Example - 5 Days loss of booking for Activa 6g vehicle 

Total Rent for 5 days = 580 x 5 = 2900/-

50% of 2900 = 1450/- will be charged to the rentee along with the vehicle repair cost

HWY RIDER offers doorstep delivery and pickup, but this service is only available for monthly bookings. Below are the charges

• 1-5 Kms - 150/side

• 6-10 kms - 300/side

• 11-15 kms - 400/side

• 16-20 kms - 500/side

Vehicles returned late will attract a late fee (delay charges). Below are the late return charges -

• Scooters - Rs.50/hour (More than 4 hours delay will attract a fine of 1 day rent)

• Motorcycles - Rs.150/hour (More than 4 hours delay will attract a fine of 1 day rent)

• Bicycle - Rs.50/hour (More than 4 hours delay will attract a fine of 1 day rent)

Advance bookings made with HWY RIDER can be cancelled. Below are the specifics of our cancellation charges -

• Cancellation between 0-48 hours of the booking start time - NO REFUND

• Cancellation before 48 hours of the booking start time - 100% REFUND

HORAMAVU - 8:00am - 8:00pm

KOTHANUR - 8:00am - 8:00pm

YELAHANKA NEW TOWN- 9:00am - 7:00pm

LUNCH BREAK - 1:30pm - 3pm
